1. Shipping & Delivery

Production Time: Many of our items are printed on demand to your specific requirements. Please allow 3-5 working days for production and post-processing before your order is dispatched.

Delivery Estimates: We ship all orders via Royal Mail.

Standard UK Delivery: 2-4 working days after dispatch.

Tracked/Express: Options available at checkout.

Lost Parcels If your item has not arrived within 10 working days of the dispatch notification, please contact us at Enquiries@rustyprints.com so we can investigate with the carrier.

2. Returns & Refund Policy

Standard Stock Items Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order for standard "in-stock" items within 14 days of receiving them.

Items must be returned in their original condition within 14 days of notifying us.

The buyer is responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items (IMPORTANT) Please note that Customised, Personalised, or "Made-to-Order" items are EXEMPT from the 14-day cooling-off period.

This includes items where you have selected a specific custom colour combination, size, or added personalised text.

We cannot accept returns on these items unless they are structurally faulty upon arrival.

Damaged or Faulty Items: If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault within 30 days, please contact us immediately with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3. 3D Printing Disclaimer & Safety

Nature of 3D Printing: Please be aware that 3D printed items are created by building up layers of plastic. As a result, visible layer lines, seam lines, and minor surface imperfections are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and are not considered defects. While we inspect every item for quality, no two prints are identical.

Material Properties & Care We use different materials depending on the item's purpose. Please check the product description to see which material your item is made from:

PLA (Standard): Excellent detail but heat-sensitive. Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C or prolonged direct sunlight (e.g., inside a hot car), as it may warp. Indoor use only.

PETG (Durable): Stronger and more heat-resistant (up to ~75°C). Suitable for functional parts and limited outdoor use.

ABS/ASA (Heavy Duty): High heat and UV resistance. Suitable for automotive or outdoor applications.

Food Safety Warning: Unless explicitly marked as "Food Safe & Coated," 3D printed products are NOT food safe.

The layering process creates microscopic gaps where bacteria can grow and cannot be easily cleaned.

Do not use 3D printed items for eating or drinking unless they are designed and sealed specifically for that purpose.

Do not place in the dishwasher.

Safety & Age Recommendation Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our items are sold as display models, collector's items, or adult gaming accessories.

Choking Hazard: Articulated products (such as dragons) contain small parts that may break off if handled roughly. They are not suitable for children under 3 years old.

Not a Toy: These items are not CE/UKCA marked toys and should not be given to small children.

Data We Collect We collect your name, address, and email solely for the purpose of processing your order and shipping your goods.

Order Fulfillment: To print and deliver your items.

Legal Obligations: We keep records of sales for HMRC tax purposes.

Third Parties: We share your address with our shipping provider (Royal Mail) strictly for delivery. We never sell your data to marketing companies.
